When it happens, you may not know what to make of it. The volume goes up, and the words you hear (or read) seem as if they were meant just for you. Sometimes it’s not even audible. It may be a pressing in on your heart– but it’s a sense that God is speaking to you. And the way you listen can make a difference in what you’ll continue to hear.

There are some important insights on hearing God’s voice on today’s podcast. These insights come from a verse in my new book that is found in 1 Samuel 3– and it’s the chapter where the prophet Samuel first hears God call his name. From this point on, Samuel becomes one of the greatest listeners in Israel’s history. But it was this first encounter of hearing from God that set him on his path.

So grab a quiet place and tune in. My prayer is that God will turn up the volume on just what you need to hear. Here’s the link: http://bit.ly/2Q6DFiI
