Why is God allowing me to suffer?, we cry, searching for answers as to why something is- or is not- happening in our life. The problem of pain can create spiritual distance between us and God, and even cause some of us to abandon our faith. But the verse I talk about on today’s podcast demonstrates the remarkable possibility that God’s allowing our suffering may actually be a sign of God’s affection. It may also be evidence that we have a God who believes in us more than we believe in ourselves.
Today’s podcast brings hope for the times in our life when we wonder where in the world God is– and whether or not He cares about our pain.

This will be the final podcast until this Fall, so you have an opportunity over the Summer to check out some of the podcasts you may have missed.
And THIS SUMMER I will be starting an 8 week online group devotional experience with 40 verses. People from all over the country will be taking part. It’s the perfect way to grow spiritually this Summer wherever you might be! I’d love you to join the 40 verses experience, message me if you are interested.
