It’s been a sobering week. I had a good friend pass away on New Year’s Eve, and many people (including me) are still mourning her loss My favorite memory of her is the picture above- she baked my wedding cake, and flew out on from Michigan on her dime to celebrate with us. Teri had prayed for years for this day and she wasn’t going to miss it. Fast forward to this December, and after giving the children’s sermon on Christmas Eve, Teri passed out and slipped into a coma from a brain aneurysm. A week later, with the doctor’s recommendation, she was removed from life support. Moments later, surrounded by her husband and seven children on New Year’s Eve, Teri died. She woke up with Jesus. Today’s ten minute podcast is in my friend Teri’s honor- reminding all of us that life is unpredictable, our days are short, and we should live each one the best we can. Teri did that. I am so thankful for her life and friendship. Here’s the link to what Teri’s death taught me: http://bit.ly/2Q6DFiI Teri has subscribed to my blog and podcast ever since they began. I secretly hope she still gets it. Thank you Teri Vogeli for a life well lived. Love you friend. See you on the other side.
