Falling into temptation does not happen with a single decision. It happens because of all the decisions before that decision that weaken our resolve. How much thought do you put into the little decisions that can derail you in your faith?
In this week’s ten minute podcast, I talk about a verse that shows us how a small, seemingly insignificant decision can have an impact on determining our fate. It’s these decisions before our bigger decisions that can set us up for failure or success. The verse is found at the beginning of 2 Samuel 11, which is the chapter that tells the story of David and Bathsheba. This is a story people are familiar with who don’t even read the Bible, but hidden in the first verse are some big insights into how we set ourselves up to fail or succeed in the choices we make.
So grab some coffee or plug me in on your drive- and let’s look at this verse together. Here’s the link: http://bit.ly/2Q6DFiI
